West Bay, Dorset (Made Famous by Broadchurch)

Another cold but sunny day and another trip to the coast 🙂 Haven’t been down to West Bay for a while so a visit was overdue. If you’re familiar with the TV series Broadchurch, you’ll recognise these cliffs..

Yes, those are people right at the top. I’ve never climbed up there and have no wish to do so.

  1. The cliffs are beautiful! You should climb up there. It’s a once in a lifetime thing to do. You will never forget the feeling. Personally. I’m afraid of heights, but I love climbing. Go figure.

    1. I hate heights, even little ones, without a barrier of some sort. I could no more walk near the cliff edge than fly to the moon 😀 I’ve done part of the cliff path but way back from the edge!

  4. I love the Dorset coast but didn’t get a chance to do more than walk along the front at Bournemouth when I was over at Xmas. I do use Broadchurch to explain to people the accent I used to have before I came to live in Australia. Your pictures make me feel homesick, Cathy.
