We moved into our new house ten days before Christmas and had a hectic time, unpacking boxes, cleaning, positioning furniture, generally getting everything straight and up and running before our daughter and grandson arrived. Even the wi-fi seemed to have been connected without a hitch. I should have known it was too good to be true!
Three weeks later to the day, today in fact, the connection was lost. After being on the phone all day it seems we shouldn’t have been connected in the first place because…..wait for it…..BT have locked our provider off the line until the 20th January. Because the previous owner of the house is taking the telephone number with him and he won’t be moving into his new property until…yes, you’ve guessed it…the 20th, we can’t be connected until then. So out came the mobile wi-fi and a dash into town for a top up before closing time. So apologies for lack of likes, shares and tweets today but hopefully this will tide me over until we have a permanent connection.
Looking on the bright side, it’s lovely being able to walk into town along the shore and promenade and we’ve enjoyed a couple of sunny days in between the torrential rain. My thoughts go out to those flooded during this terrible weather. Our house is on a hill so I’ve really nothing to complain about.
Oh how annoying for you, glad you managed an alternative.

Loss of a connection has to be more tolerable with the beautiful vistas in the above photos, and all the hugs you surely got from your absolutely darling grandson. Hugs.
