This week Hugh’s challenge is to post a photo which symbolises calm.
This photo was taken near the very pretty Nubble Lighthouse in Maine, USA. I love this view of the ocean, it was a beautiful, still day and every time I look at the photo it fills me with a sense of calm.
The lighthouse also makes me feel calm. I could really imagine living there.
Want to join the fun? Here’s what you need to do.
1. Take or choose a photo that you’ve taken that for you denotes, calm.
2. Create a new post on your blog entitled “Hugh’s Weekly Photo Challenge: Week 16 – “Calm”
3. Add the photo(s) you have taken to the post and tell us a little about what you are showing.
4. Create a pingback to this post or leave a link to your post in the comments section of Hugh’s post so that other participants can view your post.
Love the photos, Cathy. Brings back memories for me. Calming is how I experience these as well. ❤ 🙂

Not this one but during my last trip in September I was in one and walked some rocky shores. 🙂

It looks a beautiful and calm place, Cathy, but oh, when the storms come in and that lighthouse does it work 😱 All the same, both your photos are excellent for the challenge this week.

I know, I was thinking about the storms after I said I could live there! Maybe as a summer home 🙂
