Hugh’s photo challenge this week is solitude. For me this means some alone time and that’s always an early morning walk with my dog. The photograph was taken a few years ago in a small Oxfordshire village and this was the scene for over a week. I loved those morning walks…and so did my dog.
Want to join the fun? Here’s what you need to do.
1. Take or choose a photo that you’ve taken which, for you, shows Solitude.
2. Create a new post on your blog entitled “Hugh’s Weekly Photo Challenge: Week 20 – “Solitude”
3. Add the photo(s) you have taken to the post and tell us a little about what you are showing.
4. Create a pingback to this post or leave a link to your post in the comments section of Hugh’s post so that other participants can view the post.
I have an overwhelming urge to make snow Angels! 😉 Beautiful photo.

I agree, a beautiful photo, Cathy. This year’s Christmas card I’d say . 🎅
Such a shame I saw very little snow this Winter because, like you, I love walking with the dog in it in the early morning, especially when the snow has fallen overnight and we’re the first to make tracks in it.

Oh yes, that’s the best! It’s like you’re the only person in the world. We had no snow at all on the lower levels but the mountains looked spectacular.

Wonderful picture, Cathy! How could anyone not fall in love with it? I’m not an early morning person myself… but then neither am I a night owl! Lol! Wish I was one or the other, but I do love my sleep. 😁

Thanks, Ali 🙂 I can’t seem to sleep in these days and I do like the early morning on days like this one.
