Hugh chose ‘Distance’ for this weeks challenge. These photos were taken around three years ago. The Red Arrows always gave a terrific display during Lifeboat Week at Lyme Regis up until last year. They performed free of charge as a thank you to the RNLI but when the search and rescue services changed over from the RAF to a civilian contractor the price for a display was quoted at over £12,000 and likely to rise. Not unexpectedly the RNLI was unable to pay the fee. The good news is local businesses and organisations have managed to organise a Red Arrows display for this year’s Lifeboat Week.
I didn’t really expect my photos to turn out, fast moving, high objects and all that, but all things considered, they aren’t too bad.
Want to join the fun? Here’s what you need to do.
1. Take or choose a photo that you’ve taken which defines Distance.
2. Create a new post on your blog entitled “Hugh’s Weekly Photo Challenge: Week 26 – ‘Distance’
3. Add the photo(s) you have taken to the post and tell us a little about what you are showing.
4. Create a pingback to this post or leave a link to your post in the comments section on Hugh’s blog so other participants can view the post.
Love the Red Arrows, served a team of them lunch, years ago.

They must live on adrenaline, but they are fantastic to watch.
