Beautiful photographs and amazing scenery Cathy! I think I saw this featured in ‘Canal Journeys’ with Timothy West and Prunella Scales. Thank you for sharing and much love to you all xxx
I remember Trevor well, in a past life I was married to a welshman who’s idea was to take us all to Trevor where we were to walk the length of the aquaduct. Nice you may think…. petrified of heights as I am this was almost as bad as the helicopter ride for my birthday. On a lighter note beatiful photographs a fantastic feat of engineering.
I love looking at the bridges. There’s something so majestic and commanding about a structure so massive and purposeful. And the dizzying height of them is rather humbling! Thanks for this post, Cathy!~

So beautiful, and fascinating – a bridge for water over water. I’d love to see this sometime.

Not sure I’d like to travel over it but it’s a sight to see.

Thank you 🙂 I couldn’t walk on the aqueduct, far too high for me, and as for helicopter rides….

Dizzying heights is right 😉 As long as I’m on the ground I love looking at them too. Thanks, Claire.

I’ve been over the aqueduct in a narrow boat. Was as part of a photography field trip back when I was at college. Wonderful!
