If I Can Dream is a song and artist that always features in my top ten. It was written by Walter Earl Brown for the 1968 Comeback Special. His inspiration was Martin Luther King’s ‘I Have a Dream’ speech and was recorded soon after King’s assassination. It’s a powerful song with meaningful lyrics, sung with obvious emotion.

Not one I have heard before, Cathy. Such an inspirational song, though. I think those lyrics could apply to all of us who have a dream. I’m sure many dreams have come true after listening to this song.
