This week’s theme is songs that feature food. Hugh’s choice is Sugar, Sugar by The Archies, so with that in mind I went for A Taste of Honey by The Beatles. One of the few songs they recorded not written by Lennon/McCartney, it was originally the theme song for a film. The Beatles recorded it in 1963 as part of the album, Please Please Me. It had previously been recorded as an instrumental by Herb Alpert and was later recorded by The Hollies.
