Blue Tits in the Nesting Box #Photography #Nature #Birds
At last the nesting box is in use. A pair of blue tits have taken up residence. Sometimes it looks like it’s a very tight squeeze to get through the opening.
Such cute little birds that sometimes dart about almost too fast to keep up with.
Returning home with dinner yet again, they’re always on the go. Hungry mouths to feed!
Lovely, Cathy. I enjoyed your video. Our swallows have returned but I’ve never managed to photograph them – nest too high up in a dark spot and they zoom past at a terrific speed.
OMGosh – how adorable!!! We have a robin who is back for her third year. She has built a nest under our porch. Last year she hatched three separate broods of babies. I can’t wait to see what she does this year!
No, I haven’t. I know it takes about 19 days for them to fledge but I’m not sure how long they’ve been there. I think I’d be very lucky to catch sight of them.
Oh my goodness they are so pretty! I live in a pretty urban area but I love feeding the birds nearby. I wish we had beauties like this (we do have a cardinal couple who comes by every day so there is that at least lol.)
Oh my gosh! So adorable!

Thanks, Mary. I’m glad you enjoyed it. It’s very difficult to catch birds when they’re so fast.

Gorgeous. Had me wondering what would happen if one flew in as one flew out though.

Oh, how lovely when they come back. I think there might be a robin’s nest somewhere around, two robins have been in the garden for a while.
