Welcome to the Sunday Stills feature created and hosted by Terri Webster Schrandt
The prompt for this week is Gray (or Grey if you’re in the UK 😉)
Everywhere looks pretty grey at the moment, the ocean taking it’s colour from the clouds. Just a glimmer of light trying to break through. It didn’t quite make it in the end and was swallowed up by the clouds.
The grey wolf stares and growls a warning to lesser pack mates. He has to eat first or there will be trouble. Thankfully the others took heed and waited their turn.
This little beastie stayed on the wall by the back door for quite a while. I couldn’t find out what type of moth it was, so if anyone has an idea do let me know.
More grey skies and seas for our afternoon walk on the beach with lots of different shades.

A great collection of grays, Cathy. I would love to be that close to a wolf! Thanks for sharing Sunday Stills.

Thank you 🙂 I’m glad there was sturdy fence between me and the wolves!

That moth looks like something out of a horror story! Where did you see the wolves?

That really was one scary moth! I had to sidle past every time I went out the back door in case it decided to launch itself at me 😂
I went with my sister to the wolf consevation trust in Reading. Unfortunately it’s closed to the public now.

That moth looks like it’s made of cashmere, Cathy. Lovely markings on it, although I do try and avoid them too.

I don’t know what it is about moths, I don’t mind butterflies at all, but this one was quite big considering…and very hairy!

Beautiful greys Cathy and I Iove your capture of the wolf! The video of Finn is wonderful too. It’s sweet to see how he potters about so unperturbed by the waves 😍 Hope you are having a great day and much love to you and Finn from all of us here 🤗💖🐕 xxx
