This is something I want to go and see. I visited a couple of friends a few weeks ago and we were looking through their guidebook when then visited. I was surprised by how many memorials there actually are, seems as if no one has been forgotten, which is at it should be.
It’s well worth a visit, Yvonne. We didn’t get to see all the memorials – there are nearly 400 so we’ll probably be making a return visit. I hope you get to go x
What an amazing place Cathy and it’s so lovely this is accessible all through the year 🧡 Wishing you a wonderful Wednesday and much love from our house to yours 🤗💕🐕 xxx

There’s always something so moving about war memorials, isn’t there? And sadly we have good reason to have so many of them.

You’re right on both counts.
