A young sika deer ( I think)

A ‘smiley’ and very friendly Herdwick, a breed of sheep beloved of Beatrix Potter who bred and showed them. Native to the Lake District, although I did meet this one in North Yorkshire.

  1. Yay, what lovely animal faces you’ve captured today! Your floral close-up gallery is stunning, Cathy! I’m hoping to visit the dahlia fields near Portland Oregon this week! Perhaps I can get as good as you are at photographing them. Amazing bee shot–I would have had to run away to get that close, LOL. Thanks for sharing and have a lovely couple of weeks!

    1. I had a long lense on the bee shot, I don’t think I could have been that close either. I use my phone for the flowers, I can get really close up. Good luck with the dalias and have a wonderful trip.

    1. Thanks so much, Xenia 🤗 The Herdwick was one of a few that came to me across the field, they’re so friendly…and cute. Hope you had a wonderful break and much love to you all 💕🐕💕xxx
