Welcome to the Sunday Stills Monthly Colour Challenge hosted by Terry Webster Schrandt.
The challenge this week is Lava (black-brown, black, and/or orange)
The first images are from the remains of Rougemont castle in Exeter. Rougemont or Exeter Castle was originally a Roman Legionary Fortress, then morphed into a Saxon fortified burh. It’s known locally for the trial and conviction of the ‘four Devon witches’. They were the last individuals to be executed for witchcraft in England.

This memorial was in a country park we visited.

Some wonderful colours here Cathy – great choices for this week’s Sunday Stills challenge. I went literal in my post!
