If you’re an audiobook fan and would like to take up the challenge, hop over to The Book Nympho or Hot Listens for the Reading Challenge details and levels. I’ve gone for the Marathoner (50+) The challenge runs from Jan 1st 2015 until Dec 31st 2015 and you can join in anytime.
Audiobooks are great for those times you can’t read a book for whatever reason and if you find a great narrator they can make the story so much better.
Happy listening 🙂

Thanks 🙂 I agree, I’ve found lots that way. Having a bit of a slow start this year, lots of hard copies to review..

Looks like you wrapped up the year really well! And I agree with you that the narrator, as well as the audio production, can make or break an audiobook listening experience.

Thanks 🙂 I did struggle to find audios during the second half of the year, but that happens sometimes with books as well. Sometimes there’s so many you’re swamped and other times it’s the opposite.

You may not have reached your goal, but you still did exceptionally well. 37 audiobooks is nothing to sneeze at.
I see you listened to The Promise by Robert Crais. I am an avid listener of his books. Have you read/listened to any of the other books in the Elvis Cole/Joe Pike series? I am listening to them in order and trying to spread them out as to not get burned out. I just finished The Forgotten Man last month. I have really, really enjoyed Robert Crais’ books.
Happy Holidays to you and happy listening in 2016!

Thanks, Ericka 🙂 Yes, I’ve listened to quite a few Elvis Cole/Joe Pike books. My favourites are The Sentry and Taken and I enjoyed The Forgotten Man too.
Have a great Christmas and happy listening to you too!

We all have slumps. I went through a reading slump earlier this year. I’ve had a few listening slumps too. Luckily, my listening slumps haven’t lasted too long. I hope you get out of your slump. Hope you will join us in 2016.
