Bill Eisner, former lawyer, Trekkie and thoroughly nice guy, owns The Cozy Cup coffee shop, which he loves. He’s just been refused a small business loan and things are looking bleak. The coffee shop is well liked and supported in the neighbourhood, with a Good Karma table for the homeless, a community room used by local social groups and featuring resident entertainers.
Bill realises he needs something else in his life and allows his best friend, Roger, to talk him into a speed dating event. Just when Bill has lost hope of connecting with anyone, Amber Love comes to his table. They hit it off and begin seeing each other, even though Amber is less than forthcoming about herself and gets upset when Bill asks questions. Continue reading

As Halloween is fast approaching, who remembers this gem from Bobby Pickett and the Crypt Kickers? Apparently it was first released in the sixties…who knew! (-_-) I do, however, remember it from much, much later 😉 It always makes me smile.
