A completely different day in terms of light than the last time we visited Llanddwyn Island. So many changes in the course of a few hours.
Llanddwyn translates to The Church of St Dwynwen. St Dwynwen is known as the patron saint of lovers, the Welsh equivalent of St Valentine, and her day is celebrated on January 25th.
Boston is the capital city of Massachusetts and, as well as being the largest, it’s also the county seat of Suffolk County.
It was a year yesterday since the horrific events at the last Boston marathon and a moment of silence was observed before the start of this year’s race, the city honouring the three fatalities and also those that were injured.
Apparently the very first Thanksgiving day was celebrated in Plymouth in 1621 and the reenactment of the Boston tea party takes place every year on December 16th at Boston harbour.
