Welcome to the Sunday Stills feature, hosted by Terri Webster Shrandt. This week’s theme is daylight in black and white. I’ve chosen a selection of photos all taken during daylight hours.
The first two are images of the ruins of Whitby Abbey.
These were all taken in Cornwall. If memory serves, clockwise from the left, Mevagissey, St Ives and Godrevy lighthouse.
The impressive ruins of Whitby Abbey are perched on a headland overlooking the town of Whitby and the North Sea, and are said to have been the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s Dracula, along with certain areas of the town.
