Hugh has chosen love as the theme for this week’s photo challenge . Anything that says ‘love’ to you. I’m cheating a little because this isn’t a recent photo. It was taken just over three and a half years ago, after my grandson was born. I was there for the birth, and although I admit to not watching the business end of the proceedings, it was nevertheless a profoundly moving experience. Just glad it wasn’t me. But I love the end result to bits.
This is a lot more recent, taken just a few weeks ago and still most definitely signifies love ❤

Love! These say it all, Cathy. I have a thousand photos of my lot. Have to say, most precious is one the midwife took of me cutting the cord of eldest grandson nineteen years ago. (not one for general ‘look-see’ though, I should add!)

I can’t help but keep taking photos 😀 They grow up so quickly. I would be a little too squeamish to cut the cord, I think.

I’d stayed by daughter’s side for two days – wasn’t giving up on the last way to welcome him into the world. Can describe for you if you like? Are you sitting down….
