Welcome to this month’s Sunday Stills Colour Challenge hosted by Terri Webster Schrandt. It’s said that blue is the colour of loyalty and trust and has a calming effect.
I also read that blue is the rarest colour in nature, but I did manage to find a few photos.
The most obvious blues that came to mind were the sea and the sky

And despite it being, supposedly, the rarest colour in nature we have quite a few blue flowers in the garden including agapanthus, dwarf veronica and osteospermum.

I think this plant is lavender although it looks more blue than well, lavender. The bees and butterflies were enjoying it anyway.

Made me think of Bluebells when I read about the rarity of the colour.

Blue florals are fairly rare as a color, your choices are quite lovely. Thank goodness blue, red and yellow are primary colors in which every other color is a mix of these. Welcome home to Flynn–how adorable–have fun, Cathy! Hopefully, this isn’t a duplicate comment–tried to comment from my phone but WP wanted me to log in then it didn’t like my log-in.

No it’s not duplicated, Terri. They don’t make it easy to do anything on WP from the phone, for sure.
I was surprised to learn blue was a rare colour in nature. We seem to have quite a few plants with blue flowers.

Good to know, Cathy! I can usually leave comments from the jetpack app. Oh well. I’m amazed that there are over 40 blue flowers in nature. I didn’t research how many there are in pink, yellow or purple 😉
