#SundayStills ~ Wherever the paths may lead… #Roads #Pathways #Nature

Welcome to the Sunday Stills feature hosted by Terri Webster Schrandt.

SundayStills

This week is all about roads and pathways.

The following images were from Biddulph Grange Gardens (a National Trust property) which, although it’s not huge, good use had been made of the area with lots of pathways and interesting nooks and crannies

We enjoyed a walk round the pretty village of Great Budworth in Cheshire.

A tiny section of the grounds at Quarry Bank Mill (another National Trust property) where there is much to explore, not least the actual mill depicting how hard life was for the workers.

By the canal in Whitchurch and among the trees at Ellesmere.

The first folly we passed on entering the showgardens at Bridgemere Garden Centre

On the left is the path that circles Nantwich lake, on the right Erdigg near Wrexham (National Trust again)

  1. Cathy, I’m always so impressed with your ability to capture the SS weekly prompts so deftly. You must take a LOT of photos (I get it). The UK is just splendid with countless beautiful paths and roads. These are spectacular! I would love to see one of those canals firsthand!

    1. Thanks so much, Terri. I do take loads of photos LOL especially now you can get such great photos with a phone. We have lots of canals and the walks are generally very pleasant and it’s nice to chat with the boaters. We have a lovely litle cafe on the canal near us by the locks, it’s a nice to while away an hour or two just watching.
