#SundayStills Monthly Colour Challenge ~ Purple Hues #Nature #Photography

Welcome to the Sunday Stills Monthly Colour Challenge feature hosted by Terri Webster Schrandt.

This month is all about shades of purple. I’ve gone with florals and this is one of my favourites with the flowers framing the blue tit.

A lovely purple hebe and a pretty little viola

I love the colours of this fuschia

I’m not absolutely sure of the plant…aquilegia maybe? This bee seemed to love the thistle.

  4. Wow – a stunning selection of vivid purples. I’m so intrigued by the various shades of purple. I don’t remember ever seeing an Aquilegia canadensis in our area, they are gorgeous! They probably couldn’t tolerate the long winters here. Nice job with the prompt! I hope you’re having a great week!!
